TWR Landscape is a practical planning companion for iPhone. We built it for homeowners, DIY planners, and anyone preparing a yard upgrade — turning scattered notes and guesswork into structured estimates and clear next steps.

Inside the app you run material calculators, take landscaping quizzes, compare surface options, browse actionable insights, and keep projects and checklists in one place. Your plans, notes, and progress stay on your device.

Estimates are educational guides — not professional engineering, surveying, or contractor quotes. Always verify measurements, local codes, and site conditions before starting work.

Privacy policy

Your yard plans stay on your device.

TWR Landscape is designed around local storage. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell your personal information.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how TWR Landscape (the "Application") handles information when you use our yard planning app. The Application is provided by Empress Exotics LLC, 639 N Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114-2142, United States ("we", "us", or "our").

Information we collect

TWR Landscape does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

  • Landscape projects and selected project
  • Personal checklist items and completion status
  • Quiz completion count and insight relevance preferences
  • Calculator inputs, compare settings, and session progress
  • Onboarding and app preference state

Third-party weather service

To show a brief weather hint on the Home screen, the app may request public forecast data from Open-Meteo. These requests use general coordinates to retrieve current conditions and weather codes. We do not transmit your projects, checklists, or personal profile to Open-Meteo.

How we use information

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All app features — calculators, quizzes, comparisons, insights, and project organization — operate using data stored on your device.

Data storage & retention

All of your content remains in the app's private storage on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.

Live Activity & notifications

If you enable Live Activity for an active calculator session, that feature uses Apple's system frameworks on your device. We do not receive the content of your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island on our servers.

Children's privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, the app is suitable for general audiences under COPPA and similar standards.

Your control

You can edit or delete your local data at any time through the app — remove checklist items, delete projects, or uninstall the Application to remove all stored content from your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
